The Sounding Board: about Kris Hines

Kris Hines - Dip Teaching, MA Honours in Education - is a graduate of the Conflict Resolution Network’s Professional Skills Training. She has been working in this field as a trainer, consultant, group facilitator and counsellor for over 20 years in Australia, New Zealand and India and is based on Australia's Sunshine Coast. 

Her specialty is helping people to find the missing ingredients needed to resolve a specific conflict.

She is also a graduate of life (still studying, hoping for honours) and applies her skills ongoingly to deal with the conflicts that life brings, admitting that some challenges are easier than others. 

Her work and varied training have taken her into many fields - workplace professional development training, adult education and the jail system working with both residents and staff. Kris also works as a counsellor and runs Jungian workshops. She has worked extensively with children and teens and in drug and alcohol relapse prevention programmes.

After completing Landmark’s Curriculum for Living, Kris has been further inspired and motivated by the possibility that all conflicts can be resolved - given the necessary skills and insights - and she has gained much from the experience of putting this belief into action. It has in fact changed her life and continues to motivate her to learn and to support others in discovering their untapped powers.

Kris also works as a trainer and Voice Dialogue facilitator and uses Jungian dream work and mythological approaches in her private practice and workshops.
